Favorite Ride: 2008 California loop with Steve Zike including Oregon coast, visiting daughter Jacqueline in Concord CA, son Jeremy in Monterey Bay CA, mom in Modesto CA, dad in Placerville CA, sister-in-law Michelle near Fresno CA, Lake Tahoe area, riding through Yosemite with Jeremy and Fresno friend Jason.

Worst Ride: As a new rider on my new Dyna to a PO meeting at Round Table Pizza while my husband rode his famous custom chopper. As we attempted to leave he started up his bike warming it up sitting there looking very cool and proud. I had difficulty starting my bike (unknowing it had been mis-wired and would not start unless taken out of gear) I struggled to get it in neutral so I started rocking it and trying to shift. I kicked the clutch too hard with impatience and knocked myself over. As I lay trapped under the bike hollering my husband could not hear me over his loud chopper but my hero friends (Jim Shreve, road captain) heard me from inside Round Table and ran out to lift the bike off me. Not sure what hurt more: my pride or my ankle (which was actually saved and not broken due to awesome Harley Davidson boots my husband bought me).

Humorous Situation: After riding the Oregon 101 getting soaked in the rain, chilled to the bone, my adorable husband attempted to warm dry us by turning on the plug in standing heater in this romantic right on the shore hotel. Then he used the hair blow drier to dry the insides of our Harley boots. Although there was a wall between the plugs they were on the same fuse and we were suddenly in darkness. He had to go report to the hotel office what had happened to regain electricity.

Motto: Never ride without my protection (Harley Boots) & Love who you ride with and ride with who you love.

Advice: Lock your hotel room door unless you need LOTS of toilet paper.
