Worst Ride And it happened on 07-07-07. Riding two-up we were to meet up with my sister and her husband in Yakima to make plans for a day ride. We decided on the "three pass ride' starting with White. We fueled in Packwood and learned Cayuse still wasn't open from the washout. We decided to eat and head back to Yakima and devise a new plan. As we headed back on a beautiful sunny day, the temps in Packwood were in the mid 90's with a slight breeze. As we climbed in attitude the wind picked up, but being from Ellensburg, didn't give it much thought. Coming down the east side the wind was gusting and swirling pretty hard, and my dumb-ass husband was going too fast. Well the wind in corner stood us up straight, and the lay down was a lot better than the alternative. Best Ride This one is hard. I have been on a lot of good rides with the HOG chapter and two-up rides with Gary. l guess the best, though, would be last summer when I rode my own (trike) with Gary to Sturgis. We had a lot of fun together, but he would not pose for picture with the topless girls. Probably figured I would hold it against him at some point. How long riding When l was 18 I had a Honda 90. I got caught riding it when I was 7 months pregnant, and had the keys confiscated. After that the ex and I built a 69 Harley chopper from the frame up with suicide clutch and all the goodies.
