My worst ride was my first 250-mile ride to Anacortes. It was super windy from Yakima to Ellensburg and we hit heavy rain on the pass after Leavenworth. My humorous ride situation was on a ride I took following some friends to Destination Harley in Tacoma. We were coming onto a freeway and needed to get over. I looked over in the lane before our lane had straightened out and essentially went across the area where the two lanes come together. Unfortunately, it was covered with tons of gravel and I started to speed wobble. Fortunately I ended in the lane I needed to be in and straightened out. My friends ahead of me didn’t even know I was in trouble. They thought I was on top of things by getting over ahead of time to clear the way for them to get over. My ride motto is have fun and be safe. My ride advice is always look where you want to go. I know it’s obvious, but it is so true! I found out the hard way.
