Favorite Ride: Was a great ride Frank and I took to the Hollister Rally.  After the rally we went down the California Coast line, stopping for night in Pismo Beach. Was disappointed most of ride along coast line, very foggy, couldn’t see ocean.  On thru desert of California to Colorado.  Stopping at a great National Park: Mesa Verde (we have to go back there).  Thru some very large passes with no guard rails ending in little towns of Silverton and Ouray.  On to my brothers for family time in Colorado Springs.  To home at some point was a great trip we shared together both on the same bike: next time will be memorable in a different way, me riding my own Harley. 

Worst Ride: Very Short and Sweet, was a ride we took recently with friends to the Redwoods in California.  Stopping in Manzanita, Oregon for a few days to enjoy the ocean.  Decided to go to a restaurant, Frank & I had been to before. Camp 18. Well to get there, there is a side road with nothing but very tight cornering, by the time the end came I was a NERVOUS wreck.  Unsure what had happened, but tight cornering isn’t my strong suit.  I usually get heckled about it all the time.  Good news is I made it thru all the corners on my own terms and finished out the rest of our trip.

Humorous Ride: It's not very humorous but Ken renamed a road for me over by Anacortes.  It's new name is Lay Down Laurie Lane.  Well it started like this, I was new to riding.  Ken’s friend took us on a ride while over at Anacortes.  The guy was going pretty fast and lost a few of us.  Earl was waiting at the corner so we would no where to turn but we sped right by, stopped in middle of road in a hurry to turn around and I went down.  So, there you have it Lay Down Laurie Lane.

Ride Motto: Always ride my own ride no matter what anyone else thinks.
