How long riding: I have been riding my own bike since 2004, but I grew up on bikes I was always the passenger except on a dirt bike.

Currently riding a 2001 Heritage Softail and I love it, I wish I would have started out on that bike.  My first bike was a 2003 Sportster Hugger and I went everywhere on it, I wanted to ride as much as I could.

Best Ride: I guess I have 2.  The first is my first long trip and that was to Reno, Nevada on my Sporster.  I was the only lady rider in the group and I was on a Sportster!!!  People would ask me what I rode and I told them and they said I must have an Iron Butt!!!!  It was so fun to finally be on the open road on my first trip.  The second ride was the ride to the National Hog Rally in Billings, Mt.  And again I rode my Sportster!!  The ride was so beautiful and fun, John and I got to meet and get to know a lot of the people in the Hog Club on that trip and I got to be known as the wife of the toilet paper guy!!!! Whoo-Hooo.

Worst Ride: I would say it would have to be the ride I took with my dad in 1984. Dad was riding a Gold Wing and just got a new light bar for his birthday and wanted to take it for a ride.  We were moving and I wanted a break so dad let me go along.  The trip was a pretty ride and it was fall so everything was beautiful.  On the way back home we were following a truck that was going kind of slow, my dad went to pass and the driver was drunk and turned his truck right in to us...needless to say it took a little while for me to want to ride again.

John and I are so lucky to be able to ride our bikes and be a part of the Yakima Hog Chapter, we have made many friends and they are like a family to us.
